My wife Sheri and I are disabled, retired military. We brought Emma into our lives in a time when we started battling Cancer. We first brought her in as a safety measure. But she soon became so much more. She became a trusted companion, and a friend. We've only had her for 6 years, but ever since she has been with us, our lives have been so much better. Fuller.

Emma is funny. She is a 90 lb happy soul who is forever getting bullied by her 10 lb little Dashund sister. They LOVE walks, and treats. Just cuddling by our feet in their forever warm companionship. She is VERY protective of Sheri my wife. She even has a special growl for seles people!

She loves, loves loves walks. That is why her current condition is so sad to us. It is just not debilitating to her but it also robs us from our only cause to get out and walk/exercise.

Our dear Emma has a torn a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL). A condition that requires expensive surgery. In the $thousands. She is young, and leaving her to suffer in 3 legs is not an option.
