Emmet is a 8 year old Maltese in Peoria, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Brain MRI.

We have had Emmet since he was 6 months old. He is a maltese/yorkie mix that looks mostly maltese. He was named after the character Emmet in the Lego Movie by our son.

Emmet suddenly started having complex partial seizures on July 19th. He has had an average of 3 per week since then. Because of his age, epilepsy is less common than other causes of seizures like a brain tumor or infections. He is being seen at Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix, AZ. They have recommended an MRI but it is too expensive for us to pursue without assistance.

Emmet loves people and other dogs! He is such a sweetheart. He loves being with his family, going for walks, eating treats, playing with puzzle toys, taking naps, and belly rubs.

This is a sudden, major medical expense that is happening at a time when we are experiencing health issues as well. He is like a brother to our son and it would mean so much to him to know what is going on and potentially be able to help him get better.
