Enzo is a 1 year old German Shepherd Dog in Texas who needs $7,000 for Diagnostic Rhinoscopy.

Enzo came to us via a rescue/shelter about a week ago on Aug 8, 2026. Not much is known about his past, other than the fact he was seized from his previous owner by the state for undisclosed reasons. He is currently the only pet living with us besides our parrot.

We believe Enzo came to us from the shelter already sick, as he was displaying worsening symptoms of respiratory infection within the first 24 hours of arriving home. He was taken to a vet the next day for treatment. The 2nd visit was a checkup, and a 3rd emergency visit last night, 8/13/26 for severe and frequent nose bleeds lasting 20-30 mins. This most recent clinic is MedVet Dallas.

We may not have known Enzo for very long, but what we found out so far is that he is an extremely friendly and happy boy, especially considering he was in a shelter and whatever was before. He takes naps very seriously and sleeps quite deeply. He loves all of his toys but has taken a much greater liking to balls and tug-of-war. He is quite expressive as well, not afraid to show us how he feels.

This entire situation was extremely sudden and caught every one of us off guard. In under a week this sweet little boy was able to steal our hearts, and we wish nothing more than to be able to see him recover and live a very long, healthy life.
