Esme is a 15 year old Abyssinian in Nevada City, CA, who needs $150 for Vet Visit and Medication.

My beautiful Esme and I met when she was just 3 months old. She was rescued from a fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains in 2009, and I met and adopted her when she had just been spayed. We have been through so much together, and she is my best friend, along with her adopted brother Basquiat. I adore her, and would do anything for her. She is a feisty girl who is so beloved.

Esme has been very healthy most of her life, but today I found her straining to relieve herself, and then she threw up her dinner. I am beside myself with worry. Her vet can see her tomorrow, which is Four Paws Animal Clinic in Nevada City, CA. I just pray it is not her time yet. I can't stop crying!

My beautiful girl is such a love and has a lot of wonderful qualities - she LOVES catnip and Greenies, and loves to sleep with me every night. She used to be quite a mouser, but she is strictly indoors nowadays. She meows when she wants to play, and watches for me through the window when I get home. I love her SO much!

I have recently spent my emergency money on extra bills, and find myself with $30. I will give it all to Esme, but the vet visit bill is $65. I don't know if she will need medication, but I am beside myself with worry about her. Her appointment is tomorrow at 10 am.
