Espeon is a 10 year old Russian Blue in Wellington, CO, who needs $15,000 for Abdominal Surgery w/Partial Removal of Intestines.

10 years ago when my wife & son where at a animal shelter, the staff asked my family to "foster" a kitten that had been returned from a former adoption because she was a trouble maker. They were trying to get the cats adopted so they named them all after Pokemon. This little girl was named Espeon! She was a "failed" foster because she quickly became my wife's only little girl in the house of boys.

Espeon was seen at a Vet, we spent more than we had & were told she needed a hospital. We took her to Colorado State University & after a quick look & testing we were told she had blockages from her stomach to her intestines. They attempted to unblock it but determined she needs extensive, expensive lifesaving surgery. She's scheduled for tomorrow & we do not have the money. Admitted 3 days ago.

When Espeon came home 10 years ago, she went into a house of boys. 2 older males about 5yrs old at the time. She quickly became the queen of the house and became my wifes little girl. When the boys would be sick, she would always tend to them with kisses and licks! She always sensed any stress in the house and would would be glued to the side of whomever was going through something.

We just mourned the loss of "Flash", Espeon's brother & my wifes mom just passed away. I have been diagnosed with a Aortic Aneurysm & lost my job. We are in financial ruin but this little fur baby is the most important member of our family. We cannot lose my wife's lil girl!
