About this campaign
I adopted Eva from Downey shelter when she was just a few weeks old and .50lbs. They were going to euthanize her as she had an upper respiratory infection and underweight. I named her Eva after my favorite person who passed, my nana.
Eva is the sweetest most gentle cat. Of course she is a princess and always has to be sitting on a pillow if she’s next to you getting pets. Once you stop she will gentle tap you like hey don’t stop petting me.
Throughout the past few weeks of Eva being in/out of the vets office which is traumatizing to her she still lives on me and wants snuggles. Eva’s favorite thing to do is sun bathe in front of the heater at night, sit on the counter and meow for food, and sit on her pillow and get lots of chin scratches
Eva was seen at cats and dogs animal hospital in Long Beach, ca by dr. Short. They thought she may have a UTI, they biopsied the urine sent it off for culture & did blood work. It came back with no infection. While they were doing the biopsy with ultrasound they saw three small crystals in her bladder. Two weeks ladder her symptoms are back and she needs surgery to remove the stones.
I have Cushing's disease and had a right adrenalectomy so the stress of my Eva being in pain or suffering is literally gut wrenching!!! My body is not handling well and I would do anything to make Eva healthy again!!
