About this campaign
Eva was gifted to me on January 19th, 2019 when she was just about 8 weeks old. She is now 7 years old, and has been by my side for a large portion of my childhood, ever since I was 12. She currently lives with me and my parents as I go through college, where she has plenty of space both indoors and outdoors to roam around freely.
Middle Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center
Eva was diagnosed with severe pyometra on 5/25. It started with unusual stool, which we assumed was from a new brand of food. But during the following days, her health had rapidly declined, including her mobility. She began to express pain when I would pick her up, her abdomen began to swell, and her energy overall became next to nothing.
She is incredibly social and friendly. She always wants to be around someone and follows people around just to see what they are doing. She makes friends with everyone even if they're complete strangers. She just wants to say hello and be petted. She often cuddles with me at night and during naps, and if she doesn’t, then she is always nearby.
This procedure will be a major strain to our finances and savings, as we were completely unprepared for this sudden emergency. To be able to relieve Eva of the pain she's in would mean having my little troublemaker and my best friend back to her old self.
