Evander is a 8-year-old Terrier Mixed in Richmond , TX, who needs $507 for a broken rib and fractured pelvis.

Evander was given to me by a friend eight months ago. He was born Feb. 08, 2019, out of all his brothers and sisters he stood out. The litter was full of girls with all similar color patterns. I told my friend I wanted the one with the light brown feet. She replied they all have brown feet light brown or dark brown? I took a picture and set it to her. She said okay that’s a girl.

Evander is VERY territorial and picks up on ANY type of energy. We currently live with my grandmother and he protects her and the whole house. He loves to play outside and loves to play with my nieces and nephews. Evander refuses to deificate close to the house and prefers a corner or a high grass. Our yard is pretty big and full of trees, we live in the country. He has his favorite spots.

I work for Lamar consolidated as a Paraprofessional aide in the Compliance Assistance program. I don’t get paid for my quality of work but for my job position, a paraprofessional aide. I will do anything to have my happy, energetic baby back. He’s more than the eye can see.

Evander is a young healthy, extremely little boy. I heard excruciating cry from my baby and I instantly took off. A vehicle came around the curb and drifted off the road a little and hit him. Evander is 13lbs chocolate brown mixed with light brown coat. He knows when cars move you stay or go to the door. The car hit him and kept going. I rushed him to Foster Creek in Richmond, Tx.

Evander was certified as a support service dog on Oct. 7,2020 by Frank Simick in Katy, Tx. The both of these awesome guys have helped me get through the toughest of times and become a more gentle and loving person. On Oct. 23,2020, Evander was in the truck with me and wanted to get out. He normally uses the restroom and runs back to the house and waits for me at the door. Not that day.
