Returning to a shelter I had recently adopted another kitty from to ask for information on that previous cat. I was asked if I would like to browse the currently kitties, of course i said yes and walked through. I ran accross Eve who was "spicy" hissy missy. I fell in love instantly and had to have her. Since then she's been my best buddy, and i'm distraught with her current illness.

She loves to play with your feet when under the covers. If she hears you eating anything she will come out of where ever she's made her self a home, and come try to steal it from you just to chew on it, or lick it. She loves to lay on your head when you sleep, and if you will lay still enough will sleep on top of you.

When she was rescued we were told when she was a kitten coming in she had two broken rear legs. Luckily she had them fixed before we met her, and has no "issues" with them as of now. But she eats by picking the food out of the bowl and setting it on the ground cause she did that during recovery, and she "duck" walks with her back legs kind of bowed out. She's our precious baby.

Currently trying to diagnose the issues going on. It all started with a "kitty cold" we thought, and were told from a clinic. After doing imaging at the clinic, and giving her medication for rhinitis. she currently now loks like the pictures provided, and needs to be seen by a specialist to determine what the cause of the swelling is.

During the Covid times my wife, and I struggled to maintain steady income with her losing her job multiple times due to Covid shutting down facilities where we lived. We moved back to Texas in '22, and she's finally acquired a decent job after medical hardships and hospitals
