Eve is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Hoover, AL, who needs $400 for Heartworm Treatment Stage 2.

Meet Eve. Eve was found by a good Samaritan in a rough part of town in Alabama. The good Samaritan posted her picture on facebook asking for help, I saw the post and immediately rushed over. When I saw Eve for the first time it broke my heart. The lady said she saw her on the side of the road and opened her door and Eve jumped right in. I named her Eve because she was rescued on Christmas Eve.

After I picked Eve up we went straight to the vet. I found out she weighed only 24lbs. She was full of parasites, fleas and positive for heartworms. She also had an open injury to her tail that left the bone exposed. She has lots of scars from a hard life. Eve was also covered in asphalt or oil when she was found.

Eve is so resilient. Although she has been through hell she is the most loving and trusting being. The day I picked her up she licked me right in the face. Eve has learned to be a dog, she runs and plays and is living the life she is meant to have.

The rescue is paying for Eve's treatment but they have over 100 dogs to care for. I want to help them afford Eve's treatment so they can help other dogs like Eve. We also found out Eve's heartworm treatment will be around $1200 due to the extensive damage.
