My pet was a 10th anniversary gift from my husband. I had loved Bengal cats for years but did not want to pay a backyard breeder. My husband found this sweet kitten in a rescue - she was 3 months old and needing a forever home, and we bonded the second I held her! The sweetest Bengal Ive ever seen - She even helped raise a foster cat’s kittens at one point.

My sweet baby started losing weight in December and needed blood work. We sold some items to get her some bloodwork, and found out her spleen is dangerously enlarged, but we were unable to afford an ultrasound or any extra bloodwork at the time, the vet said her issue is more than likely IBD or cancer, and gave her a steroid shot. I will do anything to help her.

My baby is the smartest, sweetest cat I e ever seen. She learned to sit, shake and lay down for treats, and has always been the mama figure for any foster cats we have had. She sleeps in bed with me, curled up in my arms, and she lays quietly next to me when I’m having a migraine. She helps me cope with so many things and I feel I’ve failed her because I can’t afford better care.

My husband and I are both disabled and live on a very tight budget. We are still paying off 2 of my husband’s 8 back surgeries, and I put off getting an MRI because of the $400 copay. We rely on food banks some months to pay bills and need help for my innocent cat’s health
