Evee is a 8-year-old Siberian husky in Des moines, IA, who needs $2,000 for Acupuncture, chiropractic.

My neighbors purebred husky had an unplanned pregnancy and Evee came out of it. She was the runt of 4 puppies and we had bought one puppy from this litter as well.

When she was born, we noticed that she had a curved spine and my neighbors couldn’t sell her, so they gifted her to me because they could not afford to keep her, telling us they had her back scanned and a “mild case of scoliosis”.

Evee lives with her big sister Samantha, and sibling from the same litter, named Skye. They also live with 3 cats. She gets along well with humans and animals like and is a sweet, happy puppy when she is not crying in pain. She enjoys walks when the weather permits, cuddles at night and playing in the snow when her back doesn’t hurt.

I currently work full time and barely make enough to make ends meet. I treat Evee with CBD oil and tumeric chews, but her pain persists. Her first vet visit cost me $700, and I am trying to recover the paw funds so that I can start treatment for her.

Evee stopped playing to outside with her sisters a few weeks ago and would randomly cry and whimper in pain for seemingly no reason. I took her to VCA Avondale pet hospital in Des Moines to get her X-rayed. I was told she has a congenital back abnormalitiy that cannot be treated. I was advised to get her into acupuncture, hydrotherapy and massage therapy along with chiropractic care regularly.

Evee loves these emoji squeeky toys that I get for her from Walmart for $3. She chews her n them very quickly, carries them around the house with her and drops them only to eat quickly. She is also very small because of her curved spine, weighting just 32 lbs vs her sister Skye from the same littler being 50 pounds. I call her my pint size husky!
