Evee is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix in Harvey , LA, who needs $700 for Heartworm treatment .

I got Evee from a friend who adopted her from a shelter. My friend was allergic and didn't know it but didn't want to put her back in a shelter so l agreed to take her as l already have a chihuahua mix and thought she could use a buddy. We fell in love with her of course and she is a part of our pack!

Evee is still a pup at only 1 years of age. She is very feisty and mischievous and loves to snatch my stuff. Very loving and has to be by my side always. Loves people and has her special friends when l take her for a walk. She makes a cute cooing sound when she sees her friends and jumps very high. Quite the character! Full of love .

Not working due to Pandemic. I Have no funds for treatment at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated for my furbaby. She is so sweet and very loving and l need to save her.

I acquired Evee just before Covid-19 hit. A friend gave her to me. She had her shots already but apparently didn't get heartworm prevention before l got her and contracted heartworms. I found out when I took her for an exam. I plan on having her treated at Manhattan vet clinic by Dr. Amy Bairnsfather.

She is so special to me and my other chihuahua mix called Sunny. She loves to play with her and they are a mini gang when they go walking! Taking on the world though they wouldn't hurt a fly. They love dogs and people and cats. When we walk she loves to back up and then jump really high as if it will get her somewhere faster. Makes me laugh every time.
