Ezra is a 1.5-year-old Grey Tabby/Medium Hair Domestic Cat in Glenview, IL, who needs $2,000 for Endoscopy.

This is Ezra 💜 she is our lifeline kitty. Ezra came into our lives through a friend who had recently had a litter of kittens that needed a loving home. When we arrived, none of the kittens seemed like a good fit, until we saw an adorable gray fluff ball hanging back from the rest of the group. My husband approached her and she instantly melted into his arms and we knew we had found our kitty!

Ezra primarily sleeps in our arms/laps. She has a kitty bed in a window that she likes to perch on during the day. She’s is the sweetest, most loving and patient cat you’ve ever met, with the tolerance level of a SAINT. We have a 1.5 month old toddler and he and Ezra are lifelong friends! She is everyone’s favorite cat and a true saving grace in this tough world.

Ezra has SO. MUCH. ENERGY. She is our parkour kitty, our friendliest fever fiend, and so incredibly playful and lovely with toys. She likes to watch the rabbits and chipmunks from our kitchen window and follows them from window to window around the house, it’s hysterical. And she LOVES people food! She stole a rib bone from my husband’s plate one night and has been obsessed ever since!

Ezra recently started chewing on our kitchen foam mats and had a vomitting fit of bits and pieces of the mat Thursday morning, October 12. Since then, she has a distended abdomen, is dehydrated, is blocked, is in incredible pain, and is facing kidney failure. She has seen 2 vets these past few days and they haven’t been able to help because of lack of equipment and lack of financial support.

We have been struggling financially since February of this year due to our work truck being in the shop and our paycheck being reduced. Since then, life has been throwing lemons at us and we still haven’t been able to recover, even after borrowing money from friends and fam.
