About this campaign
FFalcon is fighting for his life after someone abandoned him in the woods with his two siblings, dying from parvo, a horrible virus.
"One was spotted on the side of the road by a passerby waiting, as if for the owner to come back, as he shivered in the cold," Amy H. with the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI) tells Waggle.
The other two puppies were located 50 feet away in the woods, crouched down and trembling. Someone called animal control and then RBARI and
Jersey Pits rescue swooped in to get them to an animal hospital.
"These innocent pittie puppies were dumped in the woods in frigid temperatures to die, suffering from parvo, a deadly intestinal virus," Amy H. says. "The puppies continue to fight while hospitalized in intensive care."
Falcon is the most critical. He has labored breathing and excessive nasal discharge. His face started to swell. He may need a plasma transfusion and feeding tube.
"Born into a world without compassion for them, these helpless puppies have entered a new world filled with love, kindness, and comforting touch," Amy says. "When others have failed them, you are their hope."
Please give to help raise money for Falcon's extensive hospitalization and medical care.
