About this campaign

Farrah came to me nine years ago after losing my last cocker spaniel to kidney failure. I fell in love at first sight. Her flipped out furry ears told me right away that her name HAD to be Farrah Pawcett.

She’s my best little snuggle buddy and she tolerates ALL the foster cats and kittens that I bring home. We lost her big sister Pippa last year to a bleeding spleen. I know she misses her sister more than anything!

She loves to shred anything paper or cardboard. I always joke that I’m going to hire her out as an office paper shredder. She loves carrying little toys around as her security blanket.

Last Friday, Farrah started vomiting. I figured she just had a belly ache and didn’t think much of it. Saturday she stopped eating. Sunday was the same. Not having funds for an emergency vet fee, I took her first thing Monday morning. Monday we woke up and she was vomiting black. I rushed her to the vet where they found a nipple from a kitten bottle in her small intestine.

This is an unexpected expense and I am a single pet mom with her, 9 cats, and 9 foster kittens at the moment. I pour my heart, soul, and spare money into saving these babies and it leaves little room for savings. .
