Fat Boy originally belonged to our neighbors, however he spent a lot of his life outside and began hanging around our house because my young daughters were feeding him. He was skin and bones. One day, I had enough and asked our neighbors if they wanted to keep him and they said no. He became ours that day, 10 years ago.

We started noticing his eyes were looking strange. Several vet appointments of being told everything looked OK. Eventually his eyes became so cloudy, we were recommended to go to a cat opthomologist, Veterinary opthomologist services is Nashville. It was determined he has glaucoma and most, if not all, of his optic never was damaged.

Shortly after we took in FB, we had allowed him to continue to go outside. One afternoon, as my kids,my husband and myself were outside with FB and a stray dog came into our yard and charged my daughter. FB puffed up to 4x his size and charged the dog, chasing it out of our yard. I have never seen a dog try to get it's tail infront of its own body,scared in all my life. FB is our guard cat.

FB is in pain. His eye pressure is 60 and 98. He is getting eye drops 3 times a day, but his levels arent coming down enough. He deserves to not feel in pain every day. Unfortunately, we are living pay check to paycheck and don't have the extra for his eye removalsurgery.
