Nine years ago, I found him in my backyard—bloody, scared, and missing part of his ear. He looked like he had been through so much already. When we locked eyes, something just clicked. I can’t explain it, but from that moment on, he was ours.

He has a urinary tract blockage, which is extremely serious and needs surgery right away. Without it, we could lose him. The hardest part is—we can’t afford the surgery due to financial hardship. We are seeking help from the Humane Society of San Bernardino.

Fate has become so much more than a pet—he’s family. He’s been with us through some of the biggest moments of our lives: moving away from home, welcoming our first child, and everything in between. He’s been our constant through it all.

We’re asking for help because we’re not ready to lose him, especially when this might be preventable. He fought so hard to survive before, and he deserves a chance to keep living the life he found with us.
