About this campaign
Fefe became part of my family about 3 years ago. I rescued her from an family member who could no longer care for her. The kept her in a kennel most of the time because they had other dogs that would attack her. When I brought her home she ran through the house and I could see a smile on her face. She was home.
Fefe follows me every where in the house, if I go in a room and close the door she will scratch at the door until I open it. She will lay on the arm rest of my chair for hours and watch TV with me. She sleeps with my daughter every night and when she leaves for school she will lay at the door waiting for her to return.
I currently unemployed due to covid the business I was working for has closed. I am looking but it is a hard time right now. I feel terrible I can not help her and I am worried I will have to surrender her if I am not able to get her the surgery she needs.
Fefe was seen at the Mission Animal Hospital for a dislocated hip on August 24. Her left hip joint is weak and it has come out of the socket before and they were able to pop it back in place but this time that is not the case. Dr. Flint said her hip requires surgery for it to stay in place. Dr. Flint went over our options for surgery and said FHO surgery would work best for her.
She has a thing about feet, she will sit an peoples feet. Even when I am doing dishes she will sit on my feet while I am standing in front of the sink. If you walk by her she will reach out for your feet and as soon as you stop she is there to sit on them. Doesn't matter who's feet, when company comes she sits on there feet to.
