One year, when my kiddos were young…
We responded to a post, with a struggling stray momma and her babies. My kiddos got to play with them for a long time. My oldest decided on a tiny black and white kitten, “Emah”. She had a twin brother, but as much as we tried he wasn’t willing. My youngest played with the most friendly kitten, the ‘life of the party’, so “Felicks” (as it sounded) joined us.

Now, 10 years later, Felicks woke me up MOOOWing right next to me. He then vomited, I am still finding spots. He overreacted to touch, he hurt so bad. He was leaking blood instead of urine. We took him right to Care Animal Hospital and they quickly went to work. LIFE THREATENING?! We just lost our youngest fue baby.. They graciously are working with us for alternative funding. WE NEED A MIRACLE!

To most, he’s just a friendly, chunky cat. To us, he is our greet-you-at-the-door, doesn’t know a stranger, human or animal, companion especially to our lost, grieving girl at home.
