About this campaign

My brother got Fenris as a tiny fluffball ten years ago from a breeder in Pennsylvania (fun fact: a couple of his relatives starred in the film Snow Dogs). He was and continues to be a blessing after our previous dogs passed away in a tragic accident. He currently lives with my brother in his apartment as an Emotional Support Animal and enjoys multiple daily walks and tons of love.

Fenris has always been a character. He loves water and as a small puppy would rather swim in his water bowl than drink out of it. He loves training and learning new things. His repertoire of tricks ranges from paw shakes and spinning around to taking a bow and even bowling! He has always gotten along with people and other animals.

My brother is on disability, so he doesn't have income for emergent situations. He can pitch in what he can and has already spent $200+ on diagnosing Fenris. I would help, but my business has been severely impacted by the pandemic and I'm barely making it by myself.

Fenris has recently been diagnosed with multiple lipomas, which aren't a pressing issue, as well as one cancerous lump on his head that we want to take care of before it potentially spreads. We have been going to Pender Veterinary Centre for a few years and they have always treated our pets wonderfully.

Fenris loves homemade doggy treats, especially frozen peanut-butter filled apples. He is a very talkative dog, but he never barks. Like most Huskies, he yodels and sometimes it's like he's joining a conversation or talking back at us. He gets excited when visitors arrive and zooms around the apartment when someone comes around.
