Fergie is a 5 year old female French pitbull. She weighs 40 pounds full grown. I adopted her from the pound when she was 1 year old after she was found injured, abandoned and chained to a tree. She is such a great dog and so loving. She LOVES to play ball and go to the dog beach. She is the best dog and a part of the family. We love her dearly

Fergie has bone spurs caused from Ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligaments in her hind leg that have gone untreated for too long. She can no longer walk except a very short distance, has trouble sitting or getting in a comfortable position, and her whole body shakes uncontrollably when the temperature is low. She needs emergency surgery which is roughly $3000 at VCA hospital in El Cajon, Ca

She is always happy and loves to meet people and other animals. She is a best friend to my 13 year old son and before her injury she was glued to his hip. She loves to play outside and lay in the sun. Since her injury she has been so bummed out and you can see that she is in miserable pain.
