About this campaign

Finch, a resilient kitten rescued along the Willamette River, was found alone and emaciated, but he now thrives in a loving home. He shares a close bond with his brother, Winslow, a friendly and sociable Golden Retriever. The two love to play together, creating a joyful and harmonious environment where Finch has been able to recover and grow in safety and comfort.

Recently, Finch began showing signs of pain in his back leg, which worried me deeply. After a visit to West Eugene Animal Hospital, He was diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the femoral head, also known as Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease. This condition causes the bone in his hip to die, leading to immense pain and difficulty moving around. The recommended treatment is FHO Surgery.

Finch is a precious kitten who loves to explore the world on walks, showing his adventurous and curious spirit. His playful bond with his brother Winslow and his affectionate, calming nature make him an irreplaceable part of our family, bringing joy and comfort every day.

The cost of Finch’s surgery is more than I can manage alone, but it’s critical to ease his pain and let him thrive again. Finch isn’t just a pet—he’s my emotional support and a loving companion to Winslow. Having him healthy will bring joy back to our family. Thank you!
