Finn is a NaN-year-old American Pit Bull in Vancouver, WA, who needs $2,000 for Ectopic Ureter Surgery.

Finn was adopted in April 2021 from the Oregon Humane Society. She was abandoned there in the middle of the night. We were looking for a 2nd dog for our senior dog Jax to have a friend. We fell in love with Finn. My husband is Irish--how she got her name, but I'll tell you it's after Dr. Finn from Grey's Anatomy. Finn has two kitty friends at home, Sloan and Purrsius--she loves to play with them.

Finn is the sweetest girl you will meet. She loves pets and snuggles. She loves getting and giving kisses. She is very playful and enjoys tug-o-war with Jax and trying to get the cats to play with her too. She crawls around on the floor which always makes me laugh. She is very expressive and has very animated expressions especially in her ears. Finn loves her daddy so much, she is daddy's girl.

We were in the process of purchasing a home when we adopted Finn and so our savings was emptied by those expenses. This was an unexpected diagnosis and we want to give Finn the best life we can and this will be a big step in that direction. This will change her life so much.

Finn is going to be treated by Oregon State University at Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Hospital by the Soft Tissue Surgery Team. Finn has an Extramural Ectopic Ureter, which makes up 10% of Ectopic Ureter cases. Her ureter (tube from her kidney to bladder) attaches to her urethra not her bladder so she leaks urine. She has additional abdominal abnormalities that make her life a bit more complex.

Finn loves ice cubes and water. She hates being bathed, but if you put the pool out you will find her laying in the water. She crawls on the floor which is so funny. She is one of the most expressive dogs I have ever known. She also enjoys watching TV--she is the first dog I have ever owned who does this. She gets the zoomies and runs all around. Finn has such a cute run, she is so fast too!
