My name is Finnigan but I go Finni. I'm a 10-year-old senior dog. I met my family when a friend's beloved Golden had a litter of puppies. After just recently losing their Bearded Collie they needed a furry friend to fill the space and be a comfort to them. From the moment they met me, we fell in love with each other and could never be separated. They will do anything for me just as I will for them

I have grown up with my sister and brother since they were young and we do everything together from swimming. to running, to cuddling on the couch. I always want to be near them for love and protection. For my parents, I am always there to help them relax after a stressful day or provide endless love if needed. We have become inseparable and they refer to me as a brother over anything else.

One quirk that makes me special is I like Seafood, especially Salmon, and will do anything to get my paws on it. I also love going to the veterinarian's office to meet new people and animals. I love to bury my face in tight, dark, and warm spaces to sleep and dream. Finally, I love to "dig" inside the house. My favorite place is the bathtub and it always makes my family laugh and smile.

My parents have taken me to countless veterinarians who offered different medications to help alleviate my pain and itching. We finally found one that seemed to working until I started developing tumors, masses, and cysts as a medication side effect, not mentioned to us. It became so painful that I refused to get up. I was diagnosed with aggressive bacteria and masses that need surgery to fix.

My parents have one income coming in which is already stretched due to medical expenses and putting my siblings through school. I am my family's rock and they are devastated to see me in pain and not being able to help. I am grateful for any donations you can provide.
