About this campaign
Flapjack and I have been together since I was 15, and now that I am in college he still remains the crazy and cute chihuahua that I held in my hands as a puppy 4 years ago. The very first night we got him he was biting me with his little teeth and he still remains playful. Although he may chase small children and sneeze in your face with no remorse, he is very sweet.
Flapjack starts shaking his butt and wagging his tail as soon as he sees his family walk through the door. He always gives kisses even if I do not want them and goes into kissing overdrive when he sees me cry. It does not matter if he understands English, he listens intently and pretends he can understand.
He makes the weirdest noises that make everyone crack up. First off, he has a reverse sneezing problem that is harmless but funny looking. When I come home he does this insane scream as if he's getting murdered but he's just excited to see me. Also, hearing him snore like an old man is the cutest thing ever.
Suddenly, my baby was not urinating and hours later his entire mood changed and he started whining and vomiting. After an emergency visit to the vet, we found out that he had kidney stones and went to see what my local vet could do about it. The vet, Dr. Green at the Veterinary Medical Center Of Clayton attempted to clear the stones with a catheter, but she told us that he needed a urethrostomy.
The need for this procedure was sudden and my family has very little room to spare for this surgery. Any help would relieve Flapjack of pain and prevent his kidneys from failing, which would lead to him ultimately passing away.
