Flora is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Montgomery Village, MD, who needs $600 for Teeth Cleaning.

Hi everyone! This is Flora. She was rescued from a dog-fighting ring in NC. She went to a foster home in southern MD, and I adopted her from there New Year's Day 2024. She was 8 months old. The video you see if the day I brought her home. I have one other cat I adopted the next day from a different rescue, and they're best buddies, though he does annoy her like a little brother sometimes.

As you can see from the last 3 images I shared, Flora has a propensity for extra bacteria in her mouth. Today the vet at A Cat Clinic in Germantown, MD, discovered Flora has lost a tooth, which is a bad sign at her young age. She needs a deep cleaning, which is very expensive ($600 min, and that's if they don't have to pull more teeth).

Flora is such a character! She loves people, and the first time she met my friend Jen, she cuddled right up next to her...traitor! Kidding. I'm glad that despite her rough beginning, she loves and trusts people. She's an indoor cat, but loves sitting on the window cushion watching birds at the feeder and squirrels around the trees. She loves cuddling, and often sleeps with one paw on me.

I had to get new gutters in June, which was nearly $2,000. Now I have to replace my HVAC (this week), which is $11,000. I got financing, but it means I don't have the money to ensure Flora's dental hygiene. I could use help covering it. I don't want her to lose more teeth.
