Flossie is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in king, NC, who needs $4,000 for Surgery on Both Legs.

Flossie was chosen for my by my sister. Her mother had been hit by and car and passed away when she was two week old. We had to bottle feed her. I carried her everywhere with me. When she was scared I crawled in her cage and slept with her. She was instrumental in helping me emotionally when my mom passed away. She has the best personality and disposition. She loves belly rubs and kisses.

Flossie goes to Animal Care clinic in Rural Hall NC. They had determined that her left knee cap is out of place permanently. The ACL and ligaments are damaged. Her right knee cap pops in and out and has ligament and ACL damage as well. She is on a pain management regiment. The vet stated that she would be in so much pain within a year, she would need to be put down without surgery.

Flossie is such a lover. She wakes me up in the middle of the night just to love on her. SHe whines when you stop petting her. She loves to play, but is in alot of pain so she is slowed down. She loves to lick you, She loves belly rubs, treats, sitting in the sun. She loves playing in the leaves in the fall., She is only 4 and it is heartbreaking to know that she has to suffer!

I have no emergency fund. I got sick over a year ago and was out of work, the day to day bills had to be put on credit cards. As you can imagine my credit is not good. I cannot afford an extra bill nor do I quality for any credit programs.
