About this campaign
I found this little kitty in a bush after, sick and smelly almost 9 years ago. I didn't think I was ready for another cat but after taking her to the vet and giving her a bath, she crawl up into my bed and fell asleep next to me and I knew she was my new baby. She has a chronic UPI that she caught as a kitten, asthma, and some arthritis probably from an injury and malnourishment before I got her.
She has been the most gentle cat. She doesn't scratch but loves to play with hands with her paws and no claws out. She has an older sister (cat) and a younger sister (Shih Tzu). Her favorite thing to do is to snuggle her retired vet dad and to roll around on her back showing that sweet fluffy tummy!
My Flower is so unique. The gentlest spirit. She is like no cat I have ever witnessed. It's like she knows she was a rescue and is so thankful for the love she has been given not knowing that she is truly the blessing to our family. She only 9 and I need more time w/ her.
Dr. Evans at Blue Pearl is treating Flower for a suspected lymphoma or lymph node condition. A second biopsy will be taken tomorrow to try to better understand the condition. We noticed her drinking water excessively and a little bit of vomiting which alerted us to get her check. At the point a mass was found and we have been working to figure it since. It was discovered on 10/3.
You can Flower laying on her back with that Fluffy white belly showing about 70% of the day, she sleeps more than the average cat even when she was well and you may catch her snoring. She has the raspiest little meow and loves pets but absolutely must put her paw over your hand as you pet her head. This little lady, even with her illness, eats like a teenage boy and purrs LOUDLY when hungry.
