Floyd is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever in mobile , AL, who needs $2,000 for CrCl Surgery.

When i was a sophomore in high school, i found this tiny bloated white puppy on the side of the road. He was so white his skin under was pink- which spurred his name inspired by Pink Floyd. that was 5 years ago now and he is my best friend. He lives with my mom and dad

On Christmas Eve, my fur baby Floyd was playing with my nephew and caught his foot in a hole. We took him to MedVet who told us that misstep caused him to rupture a ligament in his leg, and the only option for a full recovery is surgery.
I’ve called all the local vets who do CrCl surgery, and it’s going to be at least $3800!
My family can’t really help, and I’m a broke college student

Floyd is the kindest, sweetest dog i’ve ever met. He’ll give “hugs” where he puts his paws on your shoulders and pulls you in. He loves to go for runs and hikes, often times he’s happy just to sit outside or walk in the neighborhood. Since this injury, he’s been so restless.
He’s protective over any kids he’s around.
He’s my best friend and never fails to make me laugh or smile.

Having floyd healthy again means going for runs together, traveling together.
