Ford is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Effingham, SC, who needs $2,000 for Spinal Decompression Surgery.

Ford came into my life from a local shelter. He was a quiet, nervous dog at first, but I could tell he had a gentle soul. I adopted him because I knew he deserved a second chance, and from the moment we got home, he became my best friend. I’ve had Ford since last March, and he’s been with me through everything.

Something terrible happened. I believe Ford was hit by a car. He’s now dragging his back legs, can’t wag his tail, yelps when I touch his hips or legs, and has started peeing and pooping on himself because he can’t move. It’s heartbreaking. I’m doing everything I can to keep him clean, fed, and comfortable, but I don’t have the money to get him the emergency vet care he needs.

Ford loves everyone! He loves to be around people and getting petted. Taking walks or running around Ford is always there. And especially go on adventures!

Right now, I’m going through a really difficult time financially. I’m a college student with a very limited income, and I recently lost my job. I’m trying to stay on top of school and basic living expenses.
