About this campaign

I adopted Forrest when he was just a year old from a local rescue. He was going to be euthanized by his breeders for not wanting to hunt for them. He is the sweetest boy and has given our family so much love over the years. A true definition of a “Mam’s Boy” he is truly my best friend and always by my side. He lives with myself and my husband, as well as my two kids (ages 5 and 2) and adores them.

Recently, we found a mass that, after evaluation, contains cancerous cells. Our veterinarian has recommended surgery to remove it as soon as possible to give him the best chance at continuing a happy, healthy life.

He is incredibly gentle and loving, especially with my two kids. They adore him, and he is so patient and sweet with them, while also being fiercely protective of our family. Forrest loves cuddles, treats, and just being near the people he loves most. His best toy friend is a stuffed hedgehog named Hedgy, who he has kept close since we adopted him and sleeps next to him every night.

The cost of the procedure is $2,500, and despite trying to secure loans and payment plans, we have not been able to get approved.
