We, my mother and I, found an approximately 6 month old, female, calico kitten just after she'd been hit by a car. She is currently considered a stray that we are taking responsibility for. She is not microchipped. She is being treated at the Corbin Animal Clinic in Corbin, KY.

We are hoping to provide veterinary care and either keep her, or find her a good home. She is undergoing blood work to see if she's medically sound enough to go through a surgery to have her left, front leg amputated as it is not salvageable.
We can't afford the increasing vet bill, but we want to give her a chance.

This cat has literally experienced the worst trauma of its life and was purring while the vet examined her. She showed no fear of me, my mother, or the veterinarian office staff/doctor. She seems to be the absolute sweetest and trusting kitten.

I'm a mental health therapist and going back to college, and my mother is disabled, going to school, and working. We have our own 7 animals at home to care for and we just don't have the funds for an expensive, and unexpected surgery like this.
