About this campaign

We adopted Foster in 2018 when we were stationed at Fort Hood, Tx. He was found on Foster Street in Waco, TX (we did not change his name because of the back story on how he got it). Foster is part of a large Family. We have 5 human kids and Foster’s sister (we adopted in Korea, a husky) and 2 cats (one adopted in Korea the other in Oklahoma) Foster is the protector of all and the best family dog.

When we were stationed in S. Korea Foster tore his ACL. We were able to get him surgery (cost was slightly more than here in the US) 4 years later he has now torn the other and we would like to get him surgery for quality of life. We have been referred to Scissortail Veterinary Specialists, Oklahoma City, OK for surgery. The procedure without take home medication is $4,500.00.

Fosters best friends are the humans in the house and Snowflake (his sister). When we brought our youngest two children home from the hospital Foster stayed by their sides. He is an old soul. Snowflake is 12 and you would think she was the younger one of the two. Foster is a mama’s boy and so gentle.

No matter what we will get Foster the surgery. We will put the cost on a credit cards and figure it out because we love him. He is not just a dog. He is a family member. He has moved everywhere in the world with us. We are a fixed income family and not in a position to chan
