Spike has been an absolutely joy to my family. My children and I went to visit our local shelter and immediately fell in love with him. We brought Spike and Chase(dog) home with us from the shelter after waiting for neutering. My children named him after a cartoon character for Super Monsters! My entire family loves Spike even my husband who was not a "cat person" until Spike joined our family.

Spike loves to snuggle. He sleep at the foot our my bed our with my daughter in the top bunk bed. During the day he naps in his cat bed, on his toy climber or next to our dog Chase. Spike and Chase loves to play chase the cat and they love to eat each other food..lol Spike has a special bond with each family member.

At this time my family and I do not have the funds to cover this surgery. Due to COVID I am working less hours and our income is very tight. Spike is our everything, my children will be devastated. We can't imagine life without him.

We just discovered that Spike has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease, (FLUTD). This is when the cats urethra is obstructed and they can not pass urine. The small amount of urine that he does pass if filled with blood. We are seeking treatment at Best Friend Veterinary Hospital.

Spike loves playing with any object that hit the floor. He is the first to start exploring. He also loves to catch any and every bug that enters the house. Belly rubs is all time favorite. He loves to climb and create his on obstacle course. We both enjoy looking out window together and he loves to go out back with my husband and Chase every morning to get a quick roll in the ground.
