Frank & Baby lost the only owner they have ever known. Overnight, they became dogs without a home.

Family members had no interest in caring for her beloved dogs, and instead abruptly handed them off to rescue.

As these sweet seniors mourn their huge loss, they are safe in foster receiving lots of love and care. Basic vetting is now complete, but they need additional senior vet care.

Baby is on the shyer side, but she is beginning to open up in her new environment. It was a pleasant surprise to find out she loves stuffy toys! Watch her video!

Their foster mom describes them as "an old married couple" and just sweet as can be.

Frank & Baby are not reliant on one another, but they find comfort in being together. There is not much interaction between the two of them, but being older dogs...their favorite thing to do is nap in cozy blankets for most of the day!

While we have completed basic vet care for Frank & Baby, they are still in need of some additional senior vet care before we search for a loving forever home. They both need senior and pre-surgical bloodwork, dental cleanings and extractions. Baby has a lump that needs to be examined and potentially removed as well.

We have a soft spot for seniors. Although senior vetting often depletes rescue funds, we cannot turn our backs on them. Donations help allow us to continue intaking dogs of all ages and providing them with necessary vet care and placing them with loving families.
