Frankie is a 2-year-old Great Dane in Derry, NH, who needs $307 for skin scraping to see if he has mange.

I kind of had this sweet gentle giant dropped on my lap ! He was seen by a friends daughter who is a dog walker and she said they where going to re-home him because of complaints of barking . He was left in a chicken coop with a small heater with two other Danes . He stole my heart as soon as I met him and I could not let him go back there . I just could t . I did not realize the cost of a big dog.

Frankie is the biggest general giant who just wants to be loved on at all times . He welcomes everyone that enters the house . He is learning how to play with things and it is so fun to watch .I was afraid of cats but he seems to be doing great with my friends two . He is great with other dogs . I don’t know what I would do without him .

I am on disability and have recently been forced out of my apt and am staying with friends . Needless to say I am struggling for money and this pour baby is the one suffering

I have been to the vet on several occasions but he is now losing weight and is covered in sores . They want to do a scrape for mange and maybe yeast and bacterial. It is breaking my heart to see him so miserable . I have tried over the counter Benadryl that is not helping at all. It is just heartbreaking to see him so miserable.

He makes me smile because they say I rescued him but in honesty he rescued me! He is learning how to play with toys and other dogs and it’s funny to see such a big dog act like a little puppy. He has adapted pretty well to all of the things we have been through in such a short time we have been together.
