Frankie is a 4-year-old American Shorthair Cat in Wichita, KS, who needs $2,000 for Urethra Surgery.

I adopted Frankie from Beauties & Beasts in December of 2022. Ever since then he's been attached to me and was doing well with his urinary issues until recently. He's been a part of our household including his dog cousin and his reptile brothers and cousins.

At first he wasn't fond of her energetic personality, but once he settled in Frankie has really enjoyed initiating play with his dog cousin Maize. They have a very taunting relationship and like to mess with each other. Frankie really enjoys cuddling with me as well as my roommate. He typically is always in my room or the living room lounging around.

Frankie is very sassy and likes to cause mischief whenever he thinks no one is paying attention. He rolls around a lot in his sleep and likes to grab my hand and cuddle it when he's having nice dreams. His daily morning activities always entail chittering at the birds.

Previous to adopting him, Frankie has a really bad urinary blockage in 2021 that almost killed him. He hasn't had any urinary issues until around October 2022. No blockages thankfully, however, recently in the last few weeks I had to take him to the Indian Hills vet again for straining while peeing and blood. Unfortunately if it continues, the vet recommended a special uretha surgery to help.

At the moment I'm still attending college and working full time so unfortunately I don't have any spare money to help put towards the possible surgery. I've tried opening up art commissions to earn some extra money but it's still not enough.
