About this campaign

We adopted Franklin at three months of age from a family of beagle lovers. I wanted him to go to get home. Being that we’ve always been renters we were never allowed to have a pet dog, and since we moved after the pandemic, the owner of our new home, let us have a dog for children. We wanted a dog that would fit right into our family.

Franklin has been a blessing to all of us. He is loving and fun and it’s a great comfort to two of my daughters, who have ADHD and a mental health disorder. He’s great with the two little ones and loves to play in the trampoline with them. always loves to greet me when I come home and give me lots of love. We can’t see our life without him.

Franklin’s favorite activity is jumping in the trampoline with his toys. He can be in there for an hour just jumping up and down. I just love to watch his ears fly up and down. He bring so much joy to my heart.

Unfortunately, we have an emergency with Franklin. He tried to jump over a gate and fell and fractured his leg and requires a major surgery. Although we’re doing all we can to bring our resources together to get him treated, we still lack the means to help him. He is currently being treated with pain management and x-rays.

We are a low income family of six on a single income. My husband works hard to try to provide everything for our family but have had a hardship due to car repairs and vet bills for our beloved cat who has passed. We have depleted all our resources.
