Freckles is a 10-year-old Mixed Chihuahua in Henderson, Nevada who needs $4,400 for Cataract Surgery.

We adopted Freckles from the shelter in 2010 he was about 6 months old . He was found in the street weighing only 3 lbs.. He quickly gained weight with our love. he had a buddy also from the shelter named scooter. They were both mixed chihuahuas ,and were so very close scooter was 3 years older and showed Freckles the ropes of living in a forever home. Last year in January 2019 we lost scooter due to heart failure. in October my husband passed away Freckles was always very close and protective of me , but after my husband died he became more so. we out his love I don't know how i would've kept it together. we found out about his diabetis in Aug. of 2019 ; but his shots and love made it easier to care for him . Going blind with cateracts was a shock to me.
