I am a US Army veteran with nine years of service. Freddie Mercury is my unofficial therapy cat. I've had him for about four years now he is around 6 years old. He used to belong to my aunt and cousin who rescued him from a shelter. Freddie lived with them in a rural community in Kissimmee, Florida as an outdoor cat for a year about two years but they eventually had to move and couldn't take Freddie with them so I decided to keep him. I couldn't just let him end up abandoned he is a very sweet and loving cat and he deserved better. He is now my unofficial therapy cat along with another tabby cat I have that is a female. The two of them are very close and it would devastate my other cat if Freddie passed away. I have severe PTSD from my time in the service along with a seizure disorder I got from a brain injury that makes my life difficult and having Freddie in my life makes things a lot easier.
