Fred was 1st adopted by my sister in 2007. When she brought him to visit, she warned me not to take it personally if he was offputting. However, from the moment we 1st met in the middle of the staircase, we clicked. We became so close that our seemingly cosmic connection was undeniable & my sister did the most loving thing, she allowed me to adopt him. Over 10 years later, we are still inseparable

After my father was diagnosed with dementia, Fred & I went to live w/my parents to help. I am so proud of how flexible Fred has been during the adjustment & how quickly he has warmed up to his new roommates. While he isn't too crazy about living with a dog, Fred shows great restraint & keeps his canine bullying to a minimum. Most importantly, he provides familiarity & smiles to those in need.

This is a one time procedure that requires tests a few days before admittance ($500 range,) as well as a 4 day hospital stay at Blue Pearl, referred by Providence Square Vet by Dr. Bedford.

Fred is known by all for being very vocal & not afraid to speak his mind. All who meet him always use the same word to describe him: regal. He is loyal, smart, tough & 1 of a kind. At almost 15, he still loves chasing a feather & appreciates a sock w/cat nip. He has taught me that soulmates do exist & loving him is my most redeeming quality, what I'm most proud of & is my greatest accomplishment.
