Freia is a 8-year-old Rottweiler in Canby, MN, who needs $1,400 for Surgery.

My husband and I were going to purchase a car in another town. We had 600.00. I made a wrong turn and passed by a farm with puppies. We stopped to see them and fell in love with little 2 month old Freia. We asked how much she was and the lady said 600.00. We knew right then and there that it wasn't a wrong turn!! We were meant to have her in our lives!

Freia is one of 4 dogs in our home. We have 6 kids and she has been a part in there life since she arrived. She is truly one of us!! She loves to play with her rope and give a lot of kisses. Her and the others get along like they have been together since day 1. She is a 104 lbs but can jump up to your eye level. She is full of happiness and love.

Freia has the most love to give. When you scratch her she has the goodies little smile that you can't help but love. A few weeks ago our other dog Apollo had lymphoma and had to be laid to rest. This broke our hearts and Freias. They have been so close that if they were ever apart, neither one would eat or play. She has been very sad since he is here. All of us are

Since she was a puppy she has chewed on things she shouldn't as all puppies do. She is a licker and somehow she got a hold of a sewing needle. It is stuck in her throat and the only way to remove it is surgery. They are worried it may dislodge and travel down and cause major damage or she may get an infection. Our veterinarian has been so caring and honest with us.

With the loss of Apollo and the bills we had to pay for him,it causes us to fall short for Freia. I dont want anything to happen to her because I couldnt afford to help her.
