Freida is a 10-year-old Norfolk Terrier in Long Beach , CA, who needs $1,750 for Cystotomy/Calculi Removal, ACL Surgical Repair.

We've had Freida now for 10 years. She was a rescue. She was about 4 months old when we found her at the shelter, and a whole 6 pounds. We were told she was found wandering the streets. She's been nothing but love since our very first meeting. Her tail wagging, that "pick me up" look on her face, she instantly melted our hearts.

On her walks a simple dandelion can be fascinating, causing close inspection. Hummingbirds? Gotta get it! She loves everyone. Let a car door open and she will climb in. She's a "come on in" dog rather than a watchdog. When people come in, it's time to grab a toy and drop it at their feet for a tug-of-war battle. She likes to sleep on her back, so it's not unusual to hear this little snore at night

She's a Norfolk Terrier mix, and the internet says her breed is full of antics, and how true that is. She started with pushing the pillows off the couch onto the floor and then jumping down on them and dragging them to the middle of the floor. She loves to rearrange all the smaller rugs in the house by ''digging them up" and burying her treats under them by nudging the rug on them with her nose.

The vet says she tore her ACL in her right hind leg. The x-rays of her leg also caught part of her bladder, which revealed she also has bladder stones after further x-rays. Both problems require surgery. The ACL surgery us $3,200. and her bladder surgery is $3,000 after a $2,000 discount.

I'm 75 years old and with a $17,900 annual income. It's all I can handle to pay the utilities, buy food, and save for my property taxes. As I said, my Freida is a bundle of love, all God created her to be. It hurts to know she's hurting. Please help her to be Freida again.
