Freya is a 5 month old Siberian Husky in Arrington, VA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Broken Elbow.

I am a Siberian husky breeder who once had Freya until 8 weeks old. I entrusted her new owner with her and unfortunately she was left to roam loose and was hit by a car resulting in an elbow fracture. The surgery is $4k-6k depending on how bad it is once they get in. I rescued her back so I could have the surgery for her as her owner was not willing.

She will have surgery tomorrow morning 5/23/24 at Virginia Vet Specialist in Charlottesville VA. They are requiring $4k up front for the surgery to be done.

Freya deserves to have all 4 legs and to live her best life. She is only 5 months old and I can’t just sit by and let her suffer. Her injury has left her little leg just dangling and causing her a lot of pain.

Due to taking her back on a limb and having to have had her vaccinated and vet checked myself before surgery could be done has placed me in a significant bind. I lost my co-owner/breeder which was my husband 2 years ago so I’m just a one income home.
