About this campaign

Frida was adopted 6 years ago from a small shelter in Olivet, MI. After conquering Mount Pleasant and Grand Rapids for a while, she has now moved to the fabulous city of Chicago where she thrives as an only child with her human, Katie.

Frida lives a simple life-- homemade meals, sunny walks, and long naps in her bed placed under the bay windows. She lives with her human Katie and her Aunt Alayna, both who adore her to pieces.

Frida is a special little bean because she was rescued from a hostile and aggressive environment as a puppy and over the years has learned to love and be loved, as every dog should. She can have an attitude or be a little awkward, but it happens to the best of us!

Frida experienced a full cruciate tear while playing at Granny and Papa's house. She saw the vet the same day and they confirmed the injury. Since, Frida has moved to Chicago and has seen a specialist, Dr. Rovner, at Roscoe Village Animal Hospital about a less painful & invasive treatment. Dr. Rovner also discovered that Frida will need treatment in both knees.

I'm currently in search of a degree-related job but have been working as a server and substitute teacher in the meantime. Frida is my closest companion and family, and quite literally the only thing that is dear to me.
