About this campaign

Frida came into our lives in 2019 when we adopted her as a 3 month old kitten. Her spunky energy and people loving personality stole our hearts. We asked her if she wanted to come home with us and she gave us a loud and knowing meow!

Five years later, Frida (along with her brother Dali) is the center of our world. She is the sweetest cat we've ever known. She rules our home and our hearts and we can't imagine a world without our sweet girl!

Frida loves people and people love her (even the cat skeptic)! She spends her days following us around, asking to be carried, or convincing us that anytime of the day is the perfect time for a snuggle on the couch. She enjoys pressing her nose against yours or even gently laying a paw under your nose so she can feel your breath. Frida love chasing the feather wand and eating, this girl can eat!

Since 3/21 Frida has been at the ICU at UC Davis on oxygen battling an infection that came on suddenly. The cause of her infection is unknown and has puzzled us and the doctors. The doctors are confident Frida can over come the infection, but many need to remain on oxygen to do so. She is so close to recovery, but we need her on oxygen for a few more days!

Frida's current care is coming at higher than expected cost, due to her oxygen dependency. We've scraped together all we can, but unfortunately is not enough. Please help us save our sweet little Frida!
