Frito is a 7 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Murphy, TX, who needs $1,800 for Heartworm Treatment and Broken Leg.

After being found unresponsive and barely moving in someone’s yard, this boy was picked up and brought to the shelter where he was given a number of days to live. _

The staff at the shelter weren't sure what happened to him but discovered he had a broken leg and a severe infestation of heartworm. We don't know how the break happened, but given his proximity to the road, it's likely that he was hit by a car and then dragged himself off the road in a lot of pain. The pain was so intense that Frito couldn't move, leaving him vulnerable and suffering.

CAMO Rescue pulled him from the shelter, got him into foster care, and are now preparing a treatment plan for him.
 We need help for surgery for his leg, if that's the case, we will make sure he gets it.
