Frodo is a 4 year old Holland Lop in White River Junction, VT, who needs $2,000 for Jaw Abscess Removal.

Frodo is a little Holland Lop I adopted when he was 8 weeks old. He is a happy, energetic guy with a big personality! He is an indoor bunny who loves supervised time outside, where he explores and does animated air kicks when he's excited. His favorite food is banana and he loves to snuggle. Frodo is named after a hobbit because they both have giant, hairy feet!

Frodo went to the vet a couple weeks ago and was diagnosed with a jaw abscess. The only treatment for his abscess is surgical removal. Upon receiving the estimate for the surgery ($3000-$4000), we had to elect to wait. Over the next two weeks, Frodo's abscess grew and is now causing him pain. He is drooling and unable to eat normally. He now also has a lung effusion due to excess saliva.

Frodo's greatest joy comes from either a juicy, ripe chunk of banana or a long, romantic snuggle. He loves having his ears rubbed and wants to socialize as much as possible. He has befriended my parents' dog, Finn, and likes to ride next to him in the car.

I am in graduate school currently and do not have a source of income. I will be graduating next year as a physician, but until then, am financially strapped with a strict monthly budget. I am not able to pay for Frodo's surgery without additional loans that accrue interest.
