Hello and thank you for your time to read my story,
I’ve had my cat for 11 years now and she has been my best friend since then. She was doing fine for years but recently her health started to deteriorate and she became joyless and depressed. My heart breaks to see her suffer and in so much pain but I exhausted all my resources after taking her many times to vet but needing more work to be done.

My cat is very different now compared to how she was before, when she wasn’t sick. My cat used to welcome me happy every time I came home from work , she was also very energetic, talkative, and curious. She was often playing with her brother and used to stand out for herself when someone violated her boundaries. Now however she is avoiding everyone, isolating, and lost interest in everything.

What I love about my cat the most is her compassion, intelligence, and ability to stand for herself and ask for what she wants. Of course, now that she is very sick and in a lot of pain she can’t fully be herself, but her personality is however defined by kindness, love, and peace.

My cat has been dealing with gastrointestinal issues for a few years but it got worse in the past few months. She is vomiting almost daily, lost 8 pounds, bleeding from her nose and skin, and not eating. I’ve taken her in the past few months to the vet many times and exhausted all my financial resources but she is not cured and in a lot of pain. She also suffers from severe dental disease.

The health and wellbeing of my cat is my priority at the moment and is also the main reason I’ve been very sad and depressed for the past few months. I do not currently have a job and sold everything I could to be able to take my cat to the vet but exhausted all resources.
